Ballroom and Latin

"Ballroom" comprises 5 popular dances:  The romantic waltz, classy foxtrot, firey tango, lively quickstep and the elegant, but strenuous, Vienesse Waltz.  As a beginner, expect to cover the basics in the Waltz, Tango and Quickstep over the first few weeks.  "Latin American" covers a variety of popular dances.  Social dance classes normally cover the flirty Cha-Cha, seductive Rumba, dramatic Paso Doble, exciting Samba and the fun of Jive. 

Improvers classes are aimed at people with slightly more experience who are looking to add to their repetoire of steps and improve their technique.  As an ex-competitor, Anne is keen to ensure students learn how to move around the floor with control, poise and posture.  "It's important that people enjoy the feeling of moving together as one - experience the joy of dance. I want my students to really move, not just perform the steps."
